AstroPixel
A full-resolution astronomical image is too large to load and explore comfortably in a normal browser tab.

about me!
what's up
I like taking complex ideas apart, learning how every piece works, and building them back into useful products. ✨ My favorite work combines a distinctive interface with the engineering needed to ship it. 🧑🏻💻

FEATURED PROJECTS
Project 02

Krypton
A literature search can scatter useful papers across sources and leave readers without a clear reason for the order of results.

3D Portfolio
I wanted a portfolio that let people experience my interest in creative engineering, rather than only read a list of skills.

Malaria Detection System
Reviewing blood-smear images and managing test records are separate steps in many workflows. Our team explored how software could bring them into one interface.

NeuralNet
A model architecture written only in code can be hard to understand before its layers and connections are visible.

notes from the build
The hardest part was making huge images feel immediate. I kept adjusting the GDAL tile pipeline and viewer until zooming requested only the image detail on screen.
AstroPixel
Solo build • Jayant Potdar
For academic search, a useful answer needs a trail back to the source. I led a workflow that ranks papers by relevance, recency, and citations before the AI-assisted reading step.
Krypton

I wanted the interface to feel playful without losing usability. The 3D scene, keyboard interaction, and device-aware rendering each had to earn their place.
3D Portfolio
Solo build • Jayant Potdar
I led the team in connecting the image upload experience to a Keras inference API. We treated it as a student prototype, with clinical validation still outside its scope.
Malaria Detection System

The interesting problem was turning a visual graph into valid Keras code. The current demo explores that compiler flow; its training display uses simulated progress.
